Rules

The race is a community event. It runs under the terms of Blizzard's Community Competition License.

Who can race

Anyone with a Battle.net account. One account, one entry, one character.
You choose to appear. Nobody is listed who did not join, and you can leave at any time.

The boards

First to 60 is decided by the clock, starting when the servers open on 4 November at 3 pm Pacific. There is one overall winner and one for each class.
Fastest to 60 is decided by time played on the character. It stays open all season.
Beta Sprint is decided by time played from level 1 to 20 while the beta is open. You may re-roll and try again. Only your latest character counts.

Fair play

One player per character. No account sharing, no piloting.
Anything Blizzard bans disqualifies: bots, exploits, bought gold, bought levels.
Finishers at the top of a board must show a stream recording, or a screenshot of the time played at the moment they reached the level.
Results stay provisional for 48 hours. Marshals may remove an entry they cannot verify.

How far a number can be trusted

The add-on runs on your own computer, so what it reports is self-reported until someone else confirms it. When other players' add-ons see your character at that level, the entry becomes seen. When an official source confirms it, it becomes verified. Every board shows which is which.

Prizes

Prizes reward results. There are no draws or raffles. Where sponsors provide prizes, the limits of the Community Competition License apply.
